Before you order any of the products we represent in Sri Lanka, please read the below carefully.
HOW WE OPERATE
As Sri Lanka is a relatively small market for exclusive electronics, we cannot supply all our offerings from stock as you might expect. All items we sell are imported in batches while some items are bespoke and thus hand-build to order (like all the products from Audio Note UK and Tektron Italia).
In order for music-lovers to obtain and enjoy the products we offer, we operate as follows:
We offer an (ever growing) selection of products from all brands we represent for demonstration at The Music Villa in Unawatuna. You are very welcome to visit (we are open only on appointment) to see, touch and most-importantly listen to these products to get acquainted with the performance, technology and the philosophy of the different manufacturers.
After this you can place an order by paying a deposit of 50% of the total purchase value. We will then place the order at the respective factories with which we have distribution agreements.
Once your order is ready for shipment we will ask you to pay the balance. After receipt of your payment, we will have the goods shipped to Sri Lanka and cleared by customs. Except for the product by GIK Acoustics, all products are shipped by air.
Once we have received the items we will contact you for delivery. Items with a value over Rs. 200,000 will be personally delivered and installed by me -Island wide-. Other items will be shipped to you by courier -free of charge-.
We do keep a stock of repair and replacement parts in for the items we sell. This means that in most cases repairs can be done locally and quickly in our Service Centre.
Lead times normally range from 14-20 weeks, sometimes longer for selected items of Audio Note UK. However, all what we sell if worth the wait, comes with guarantee and local advice, installation, service and after sales, while the wait is hassle and risk free for you. We trust asking a few weeks of your patience should be trivial for a lifetime of listening pleasure!

ABOUT ME
MY JOURNEY
Audio came into my life at a very young age. My father used to excuse himself frequently, only to find retreat in his listening room. On more than one occasion I joined him, as I very much enjoyed listening to music, brought to life by his Garrard 401 record player and Quad ESL loudspeakers. It was an outer worldly experience for a child.
Later in life I started to compose my own systems, and I purchased my first Audio Note instrument in 1996.
Ever since that moment I dreamt of owning a all Audio Note UK Music System
My dream came true in 1999. After selling my Internet start-up, I was able to afford my Audio Note Level 5 heaven. Having paid more for it than the house I lived in, it was personally delivered by the ‘Padre de Familia’ of Audio Note UK, Peter Qvortrup, who has become a dear friend ever since.
The rest is history.
No other investment could have brought more joy and ecstasy, creating visceral, musical landscapes in both my room and the minds eye. My purchase was a catalyst, bringing both a high level of musicality and a visuospatial experience.
Hero’s and Outcasts
Purchasing a USD$50K luxury car makes you a hero. Investing the same into an audio system makes you an outcast. Such is the outcome of a world where outward moving expression is preferred over inward flowing joy.
But, I just -had- to share my experience with others. And that is why in 2002, I founded the Audio Note Auditorium in The Netherlands, and in 2016 I founded Audio Note India.
The Search for Meaning
Sri Lanka I visit already for over 20 years. The beauty of this country and it's people fascinated me from day one. I just knew one day Sri Lanka would be my home. And now this dream became a reality with Audio Note Lanka.
Emerging in the Self, the ecstatic dance of music also caused my spiritual journey to take form. Bringing me on the path of Advaita Vedanta which deeply resonates within me.
As an aspiring Jnana Yogi, I find myself immersed daily in the profound teachings of the Upanishads. Clumsily trying to remove the veil of ignorance obscuring that what is only real.
The same seems to be my destiny as a householder. Uplifting Musical Consciousness, by trying to remove the veil of ignorance which seems to have saturated the realm of this market-place.
To save music from technology, to share Musical Ecstasy and to re-create musical events, meaningful to a human listener, in ones home.
That is what I strive to do every day. Not merely for myself, but for every seeker who has been blessed with the character, insight and luxury to do the experiment.
